Frontend Software Engineer

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Zoom, you will help build a world-class enterprise web application serving a rapidly growing user base—soon to be millions! About the Team
The ECS Frontend team develops innovative asynchronous communication and event-scheduling solutions to help businesses engage more effectively with their customers and deliver outstanding user experiences. As a cornerstone of the Zoom Workspace ecosystem, ECS applications power seamless collaboration, helping millions of users connect, communicate, and thrive.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintain enterprise web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.
Building automated tests (unit and end-to-end) using frameworks such as Vitest or Jest.
Collaborating with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and contribute to simple system design.
Working closely with other engineers across the company to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Taking ownership of tasks and work independently with guidance from senior team members when needed.
What we’re looking for
Possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
Possess 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, ReactJS or Vue framework and CSS.
Possess experience with Jest or Vitest for testing.
Possess experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
Possess experience with Python and an understanding of at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, C++, etc.).
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$87,600.00Maximum:
$186,000.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
