About the OrganizationThe Revenue and Financial Automation team at Stripe builds software tools that accelerate the economic and technological growth of global businesses by helping them operationalize their commercial relationships with customers. Our offerings include a billing platform, SaaS analytics, data services, and finance automation products that our customers creatively combine to support various revenue models.

What you’ll doWe’re looking for Frontend engineers who are interested in building software services and platforms that impact thousands of employees and millions of Stripe users, regardless of whether they’re an end user, developer, or partner.
Responsibilities- Build experiences for businesses that range from high growth startups to leading global companies providing them with the tools so they can run their business and not worry about tax
- Put yourself in the shoes of our users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
- Takes pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
- Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, marketing and operations
- Work and improve the Stripe Dashboard for merchants
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements- 2-12+ years of front-end development experience, building, running, and debugging web applications using modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
- Advanced knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug frontend issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers, product managers, and product engineers
- Appreciation for the importance of good documentation -- internal and external
