Frontend Engineer - Remote, Poland or Bulgaria

Job Description:

AML RightSource offers advanced AI-powered solutions built for the financial services industry. You’ll be working on applications that provide our customers insights into risks, exposing entities who may be committing financial crime. Our products prevent money laundering and make the world a safer place.

Our Engineering team operates remotely.

What you'll be doing

As a Frontend Engineer you will be working as part of a highly-skilled and motivated team, building high-quality user interfaces using the latest browsers and technologies. You will be working closely with backend, product, design & QA to make sure we are always delivering the optimal experience to our customers.

Our frontend is based around a micro-frontend architecture using React, TypeScript, TanStack Query & React Testing Library. In addition to our web clients, we also have a Chrome extension. We have a shared component library which you will be contributing to, building everything from accessible form elements to insightful data visualizations. We have a DevOps culture and make heavy use of continuous deployment, so you’ll be shipping your features to production as you complete them.

Requirements:

• Strong foundational experience working with modern HTML, CSS and TypeScript/JavaScript in a commercial setting.
• Previous experience with React.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Expertise in web development best practices, including responsive design, web performance, testing, deployment and security.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-tested code that follows best practices.
• A focus on the user with the ability to feed into the product design process.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership for the systems you build and maintain.

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience writing and maintaining browser extensions.
• Interest/experience with backend or cloud infrastructure, as there may be opportunities to work on different parts of the stack.
