We are a mostly in-person startup, but we are also flexible – you can usually work from home when you need to and come in and leave when you want to. Many employees work from home on average 1 day a week.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces, and a keen eye for design. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to build responsive and high-performance web applications.This role requires strong creativity, design skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend code using React/Next.js

• Collaborate with UX designers to design & implement visually appealing and user-centric designs

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs and provide feedback on design improvements.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role with 3+ yrs of experience.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React.

• Familiarity with responsive design principles and Tailwind CSS.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Familiarity with Git for version control.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with NextJS.

• Experience with Playwright for automated testing.

• Experience with running experiments and tracking analytics with Amplitude.

• Experience with Sentry for monitoring and detecting errors.

• Experience with web performance optimization techniques.

• Understanding of accessibility best practices.
