Fam is India's first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

About this Role
At Fam, we're looking for Frontend Developers with a keen eye for design and 2–3 years of experience in building web applications using React. Our product is a hybrid mobile app (Android & iOS), where some of the core experiences are driven through webviews that host our dynamic webapp.
In this role, you’ll ensure alignment between design and user experience, optimize web pages for performance, and maintain visual consistency across our ecosystem. You'll work closely with Native Android/iOS developers, Backend Engineers, Graphic Designers, and UX Designers to build cohesive, high-quality experiences.

On the Job
- Understand product and tech requirements and build the frontend UI.
- Creating new Website, WebApps, WebViews and updating the existing frontend projects.
- Take ownership of the entire project from planning to code review and maintenance.
- Trying out new things that can help improve user experience
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- At least two years of production-level experience in working with React JS and TypeScript.
- Understanding of Tailwind and CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components.
- Experience with animation libraries like Framer Motion or proficiency with writing performant CSS Animations.
- Experience with Next JS and concepts like SSR, SSG, ISR, and PPR.
- Understanding of State management with libraries like Redux or MobX and Server State management with TanStack Query.
- Experience with optimizing SEO of websites and web apps.
Good to have
- Experience in React Native and Android/iOS Ecosystem.
- Experience with Testing tools and frameworks like Vitest, PlayWright, etc.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD for Deployment.
- Experience with modern build tools like Vite or ESBuild.
- If you have worked on a progressive web app (on React JS) or Web-views, you will be preferred.
