The Role
As a Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the Dialog Framework and Case Service components within our MS-Azure environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of these components, ensuring seamless operation of our citizen reporting/agency review portal. Your expertise in UI/UX design, Angular, and API integration will help drive the direction of the product forward.
What You’ll Do
- Deploy, configure, and maintain the Dialog Framework and Case Service UI components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhancements into the existing system
- Maintain the Angular code base, making use reusable components
- Integrate 3rd party dashboarding libraries for charts, graphs, tables, and maps
- Ensure that the customer facing portals are mobile friendly
- Assist in the design and implementation of REST API endpoints and webhooks for seamless integration with other systems
- Utilize Docker containers and packages for efficient deployment and scaling of applications
- Implement data security measures, including user authentication and authorization.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in software development and technical support roles
- 3+ years working with the Angular framework
- Strong design and CSS skills with minimal direction from UI/UX team
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services: SQL and NoSQL data stores, Long Term Storage, Container Orchestration, Messaging, Infrastructure as Code etc.
- Knowledge of REST API design and implementation
- Experience with Docker containers and package management
- Familiarity with Web Accessibility (a11y) and performance optimization
- Understanding of design systems or component libraries (e.g., Material, PrimeNG, Tailwind with Angular)
