We're seeking an experienced React developer to join our frontend team. You'll be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining our frontend application while working as part of an agile development team. You may also get a chance to contribute to our React Native based mobile app.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and implement new features in our React-based frontend, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Contribute on performance optimization initiatives, including bundle size reduction, rendering optimization, and state management improvements
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and consume APIs effectively
- Contribute to our component library and establish frontend development standards
- Assist in maintaining our sunset mobile application while we transition customers
- Monitor and improve key frontend metrics (Core Web Vitals, Time to Interactive, etc.)
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and optimize mobile performance
- Establish mobile development best practices, coding standards, and documentation
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience with:
- State management solutions (Redux, MobX, or similar)
- Build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
- Performance profiling and optimization techniques
- Modern CSS practices and responsive design
- Frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
- RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with performance optimization
- Knowledge of WebSocket implementations for real-time features
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, etc.)
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
