Frontend Developer
As a frontend developer, you’ll be working in an agile team and building next generation solutions for our ecommerce platform.
You will have the chance to work with cutting edge technologies and work with other frontend experts on solving challenging problems. The team consists of a variety of talented individuals, with whom you will have the chance to collaborate and constantly improve your skillset.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence:

Provide technical consultation on frontend-related topics, including performance optimization and scalability.

Contribute to frontend architecture, ensuring clean and maintainable code using best practices.

Participate in the adoption of a design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across UI components.
Code Quality & Best Practices:
-
Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and improve team knowledge.
-
Follow best-in-class development principles, including Clean Code, TDD, and BDD.
-
Implement accessibility (a11y) best practices and ensure UI/UX consistency.
Collaboration:
-
Work with UX/UI designers to translate design system components into scalable, reusable frontend solutions.

Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
-
Investigate emerging frontend technologies and build Proof of Concept (PoC) functionalities.

Promote CI/CD automation and best practices for continuous deployment.

Support cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing to ensure seamless user experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Professional qualification:
-
2+ years proven track record in this role preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classing and virtual teams.

Strong experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps environments.

Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Technical skills:
Core Development Expertise:

Strong fundamentals in software design & development.

Technology-agnostic mindset, adaptable to different frameworks and libraries.

Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with expertise in React. (Next.js is a plus)

Experience in unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).

Deep understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

Familiarity with CSS preprocessors & frameworks (SCSS, Styled Components, Tailwind CSS).
Software Architecture & DevOps:

Experience with architecture design patterns and software craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean Architecture).

Familarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Design System & UX Collaboration:
-
Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience implementing design systems.
-
Familiarity with wireframe and prototyping tools (Figma, Abstract).
Performance & Optimization:
-
Understanding of frontend performance tuning, cross-browser testing, and accessibility (a11y).

Knowledge of SEO best practices.
