We are seeking a talented Mid-level Frontend Developer to join our MMB Analytics team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will join a specialist analytics and web development team that builds intuitive, user-centred web and analytics interfaces for internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will collaborate with product owners, designers and other developers to deliver high-quality front-end features, help shape frontend architecture, and share web development best practices across the team.
We will count on you to:
- Build analytics-focused front-end features and components using React, ensuring maintainability and performance.
- Integrate with BI tools, libraries, Web APIs and websockets to fetch and present data in web interfaces.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate business vision and UX requirements into functional front-end solutions.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and work with other developers to refine patterns, structure and standards.
- Write unit tests and follow development best practices to ensure a robust, testable codebase.
- Own delivery for multiple products and balance priorities across them.
What you need to have:
- 3–5 years’ hands-on experience building web applications with React and consuming Web APIs.
- Practical experience with relational and/or non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB or other NoSQL) and understanding of data flows.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Agile development and the full software development life cycle.
- Awareness of web performance, accessibility and security considerations; knowledge of common design patterns and SOLID principles is desirable.
