looking for a UI Engineering Apprentice to join our frontend team. This is an entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to build a strong foundation in modern web development and gain hands-on experience working on real-world applications.
You will work closely with experienced developers and designers, learn our development practices, and gradually take ownership of UI features and improvements.
We are looking for someone with good fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and the ability to turn requirements and designs into clean, functional interfaces. Prior experience with Angular is a plus but not required — we care more about how well you understand core web fundamentals and how quickly you can pick up new tools.
What you’ll do:
The Frontend Engg. Apprentice will participate in a structured, one‑year apprenticeship program governed by the Apprentices Act. The apprentice will receive hands‑on, on‑the‑job training while supporting the teams building AI‑powered enterprise products for service‑centric domains, including call centers, customer support operations, and field service environments.
This role is designed to develop early‑career product talent and serves as a potential pipeline for future internship or full‑time product roles, subject to performance and business requirements.
What You'll Work On
- Contributing to responsive, mobile-first layouts used by real end users
- Working with design specs (Figma) to implement pixel-accurate, accessible UI
- Writing and maintaining component documentation
- Debugging UI issues across browsers and devices
- Collaborating with design and backend engineers to ship features end-to-end
What We Expect You to Know
- HTML/CSS: semantic markup, responsive layout (Flexbox/Grid), basic accessibility (alt text, semantic tags, focus states)
- JavaScript (ES6+): DOM manipulation, array/object methods, basic async (fetch/promises)
- Some exposure to a component-based framework — Angular or React. We care about the mental model (components, state, data flow), not the specific syntax.
- Git fundamentals: clone, branch, commit, pull request
- Basic understanding of consuming APIs: REST endpoints, JSON, request/response cycles
What We're Looking For
- Engineering or equivalent graduate (2026 pass‑out)
- Projects you've actually built — internships, or personal work where you owned a meaningful piece end-to-end. We're more interested in what you built and how you approached it than where you built it.
- Accessibility and semantic HTML — understanding how to build inclusive UI
- UI performance and browser compatibility — basic awareness of what affects them
- Problem-solving and debugging — comfort using browser dev tools to investigate problems independently
- Communication — clear and easy to work with
Neuron7.ai is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We ensure equal employment opportunities without discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, national origin, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you’re excited about building innovative backend solutions and want to be part of a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you!
