Job Description

We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office team at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel Copenhagen, a large, international hotel where no two days are the same. You will work with guests and colleagues from around the world in a busy and lively environment where teamwork, flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

As part of a small team of Front Office Supervisors, you will play a vital role in the daily operation and be responsible for leading the Front Office during your shift. You will take ownership of the operation, provide clear direction to the reception team and help ensure a smooth and well-organized guest experience throughout the shift.

You will work closely with and report to the Assistant Front Office Manager, while the Front Office Manager has overall responsibility for the department.

A key part of the role is to look and think ahead, anticipate guest and operational needs, set priorities and coordinate effectively with other departments. You will lead by example, motivate and coach the reception team and help create a positive, energetic and professional working environment.

You will take ownership of guest situations, including handling complaints and more complex issues.

You will also help ensure that Front Office standards and procedures are followed, relevant KPIs are met, and the safety and security of guests and colleagues are maintained throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience from hotel reception, either as a receptionist, supervisor or in a similar Front Office role
  • Comfortable taking responsibility, leading a shift and making decisions
  • Passionate about creating extraordinary service
  • Able to prioritize, multitask and adapt in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Able to look ahead, anticipate needs and set priorities
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English at a high professional level is required
  • Danish or another Scandinavian language is a clear advantage, but not a requirement

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. We review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and will fill the position once we find the right candidate.

Working hours

This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week. 

The role is typically split approximately 50/50 between morning and evening shifts:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00–15:00
  • Evening shifts: 15:00–23:00

The rota includes a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, with two days off each week
