We're looking for a Front Office Manager to lead the team at the heart of our guest experience. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in the fast pace of NYC hospitality and understands that exceptional stays begin and end with outstanding service. From the first welcome at check-in to a seamless departure, you'll ensure every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, you'll lead the Front Office operation, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and memorable experience for every guest while inspiring your team to deliver service that exceeds expectations.

What you'll do as Front Office ManagerLead an exceptional Front Office operation
  • Oversee the full guest journey, managing a team of Assistant Front Office Managers and Guest Journey Ambassadors
  • Create memorable guest experiences by anticipating needs and resolving concerns with professionalism and care
  • Ensure service standards are consistently delivered across all Front Office touchpoints
  • Drive guest satisfaction, loyalty, and reputation through proactive engagement and problem-solving
  • Monitor and manage room inventory, occupancy, and room assignments in partnership with Housekeeping and Revenue teams
Inspire and develop your team
  • Lead, coach, and motivate Front Office colleagues to deliver best-in-class service
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, and development opportunities to support individual and team performance
  • Lead by example on the floor, remaining visible, approachable, and engaged in daily operations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive operational excellence
  • Ensure property management systems are used effectively to support guest service, upselling opportunities, and accurate billing
  • Oversee daily shift operations, cash handling procedures, reporting, and departmental administration
  • Review guest feedback and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all company, brand, health, safety, and security standards
Think like an owner
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and labor management within the Front Office department
  • Monitor departmental performance against key operational and guest experience targets
  • Identify operational challenges early and implement practical solutions
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required, providing leadership across the hotel and supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Salary

$70,000.00 per year
