Our two-year Front Office Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Coverage and Lending, Loan and Debt Capital Markets, Value Chain Finance, and Risk Management through four diverse rotations, by contributing to day-to-day team deliverables while building a practical understanding of internal and external deal processes, client solutions and internal decision-making. Combined with structured training, mentoring and professional qualifications, the programme equips you with the technical expertise, commercial insight and relationship-building skills needed to build a successful and rewarding career in Banking.

Your rotational experience

Your rotations will provide exposure to the following front office areas:

  • Capital Markets, including some or all of Leveraged and Loan Capital Markets and Bond Syndication: support loan structuring and syndication, pricing, investor research and distribution, bond funding, market analysis and deal execution.

  • Coverage and Lending: support  bankers with client and prospect research, analysis and pitches, credit analysis (including financial analysis), sector research, and deal execution.

  • Value Chain Finance: support specialist working capital solutions team with research, peer analysis, pitches and internal committee papers across Receivables Finance, Structured Inventory Finance and Supplier Finance.

  • Markets, including Sales & Trading and Structuring: support pricing, hedging solutions and market analysis across interest rates, foreign exchange and commodities.

What you will deliver
  • Support the origination, structuring and execution of lending, trade finance, capital market and risk management  transactions.

  • Conduct financial analysis and credit assessments, including the review of financial statements and key risk metrics.

  • Help with Know Your Client research and Q&A. 

  • Prepare client presentations, pitch materials and internal credit papers and research.

  • Contribute to live transactions by helping to coordinate with Coverage, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Syndicate colleagues.

  • Produce market updates, pricing analysis, peer benchmarking and sector, industry and macroeconomic research.

  • Develop your understanding of financial products, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

  • Build effective working relationships across teams and take ownership of defined workstreams with coaching and feedback.

  • Contribute to day-to-day desk activity, administrative responsibilities and innovative projects while working as part of a team.

  • Actively explore and apply AI to improve ways of working, challenge existing processes, and identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and enhanced service delivery.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw logical conclusions.

  • An interest in banking, corporate finance, capital markets, working capital and risk management, with a basic understanding of accounting, credit or financial markets advantageous.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and curiosity to develop technical expertise.

  • Integrity, trustworthiness, discretion and accountability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word, plus a willingness to learn internal systems, financial tools and the responsible use of AI tools such as Copilot.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). We welcome applications from graduates of all degree disciplines; however, a degree in a numerical, or finance-related subject may be advantageous.

  • Be available to commence the programme in January 2027.

  • An interest in pursuing a relevant professional qualification, such as CFA or FCA certification.

  • Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of their employment.

This programme will give you the opportunity to learn how Rabobank's Wholesale Banking business supports corporate clients through lending, capital markets, working capital and risk management solutions. You will work within deal teams, supporting bankers and collaborating with colleagues across Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Economic Crime, Syndicate and Research.

You will join a graduate cohort with formal training, mentorship and professional development support. Responsibility and autonomy will grow as your technical capability and commercial understanding develop across the rotations.
