Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Front of House team member to join our organisation in Drumnadrochit, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Working collaboratively with our hospitality team, you will ensure seamless operations whilst maintaining the highest standards of presentation and customer care. Your friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in supporting our mission to provide outstanding hospitality. - Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression and creating an inclusive atmosphere

  • Serve food and beverages to guests with maximum efficiency, speed and attentiveness throughout service periods - Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation across all dining areas, furniture and tableware - Prepare and present hospitality offerings in designated spaces in an organised and visually appealing manner - Operate till systems and process payments accurately and securely - Work autonomously and take initiative in identifying and addressing guest needs without requiring direction
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining composure and delivering service under pressure - Assist with stock management, ordering and receipt of deliveries as required - Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations, particularly regarding the service of alcoholic beverages - Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills - Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, management and colleagues to deliver coordinated, flawless service - Leave hospitality areas clean, organised and ready for subsequent service or events

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues - Strong people skills and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service - Proven ability to work effectively as a supportive team player whilst also demonstrating independence and self-motivation
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and service quality - Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritise multiple tasks - Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing working conditions and guest requirements - Positive, professional attitude with a resilient approach to challenges - Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in customer service scenarios - Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices (desirable)
  • Experience operating POS or till systems (desirable) - Understanding of health, safety and licensing requirements in hospitality environments (desirable) - Willingness to undertake induction training and develop skills in line with organisational standards
