We are currently seeking a Hospitality-Focused Front of House Supervisor to join our Top of the Woods Culinary Team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests while supporting and coaching the dining services team.

What You'll Do

As a Front of House Supervisor, you will:

  • Assist in overseeing daily dining room operations and maintain the appearance and presentation of the dining room and server stations.
  • Ensure tables, place settings, chairs, floors, lighting, and service areas meet established standards.
  • Coordinate resident and guest seating in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Schedule server stations and work assignments to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching for dining room staff, including workplace safety procedures and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate meal counts, reservations, and resident charges.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Assign and monitor side work before and after shifts.
  • Assign servers to designated stations and ensure service expectations are met.
  • Provide hands-on table service and beverage service as needed.
  • Support inventory management and cost-control initiatives.
  • Monitor and replenish dining room supplies, including linens and carry-out products.
  • Serve as a leader and resource for team members in the absence of the Dining Room Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of front-of-house experience in a fine dining restaurant, private club, hotel, senior living community, or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with residents, families, guests, team members, and management.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
