Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and operate some of the most critical and scalable services - ranging from user identity services to the core persistence layers
Work across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products
Evaluate, test and debug work to strive for high quality
Apply best practices pertaining to availability, scalability, operational, excellence, and cost managemen
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience in one or more prominent languages such as Java or NodeJS
Understanding of the web and technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript, ReactJS and REST
Knowledge of REST-based APIs and tools, such as, Swagger
Strong database skills, preferably in both SQL and NoSQL Databases
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques and tooling
Excellent communications skills in written and verbal forms
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Java or NodeJS
In-depth understanding of Micro-services, Event streaming, and associated frameworks
Experience working with design systems like Material UI, etc.
Knowledge of Container-based architecture and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong DevOps focus
Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks
