The NVIDIA Operations organization is seeking an experienced front end / full stack software engineering professional for the position of Data Visualization Engineer. As a member of our team you will be an integral part of custom large scale visualizations. You will support initiatives for the Data Platform, Reporting, and Analytics. You'll transform data into useful information that drives insights and helps achieve real outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Leading, planning, and implementing with team members and partners, custom visualizations to solve complicated data reporting and analysis. We work on data tools used in the engineering analysis and testing of semiconductor chips, boards, systems, and servers. We develop in house suite of tools that work from the ground up. Processing logs into data platforms, analytics, and custom visualizations for large scale data analysis.

Design and implement custom front end frameworks to support various engineering analysis

Enable self-service interfaces for various engineering and business units

Take ownership of visualization and transformation software stacks

Build, scale, and optimize plotting engines for at scale data, representing millions and billions of data points
What we need to see:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information System, or equivalent experience with programming knowledge (i.e. JavaScript, Svelte, React, D3, Python, Database architectures, etc.)

5+ years of proven experience

Experienced in defining/leading projects, collecting requirements, setting timelines, and delivering on results

Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining complex stack of toolsets (Svelt/Vue/React/PHP/Node.js/Apache/Nginx)

Working knowledge of D3, Svelte/Vue/React

Strong JavaScript experience

Experience with modern HTML and CSS

Experience with canvas, WebGL

Understanding of operational processes in semi-chips, boards, systems, and servers

Experience with custom tooling connecting API’s to visual front end interfaces

The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
