As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Front End Software Developer - to join our group.
What you'll do
- UI Development: Design and build responsive user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend microservices to deliver full-featured application environments.
- Tech Stack Mastery: Develop web-based interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with occasional development within desktop environment frameworks.
- Data Visualization: Build a wide range of components, from foundational elements (tables, buttons, and forms) to advanced 3D visualizations and complex data graphics.
- Architectural Flexibility: Develop applications using both modern JavaScript frameworks and vanilla JavaScript (built from scratch) to minimize third-party dependencies when required.
- Collaborative Development: Work as a core member of the applications development team to ensure cohesive software delivery.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Demonstrated experience creating visually appealing and user friendly interfaces.
- Experience creating wireframes for approval and prototyping.
- Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Demonstrated experience creating application user interfaces that are rendered client-side via DOM manipulation.
- Familiarity with Ajax, JavaScript web workers, and related methods to achieve parallel processing.
- Familiarity with web socket implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a Linux environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with REST services and APIs.
- Familiarity with Python and C/C++ programming languages.
- Familiarity with relational databases.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.js frameworks for building user interfaces.
- Demonstrated experience building user interfaces from scratch using JavaScript, Bootstrap, and related technologies without a JavaScript framework.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and the ability to use graphics design software.
- Experience with Three.js or related 3D programming languages.
- Experience building visualisations for data analytics.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

Collaborating closely to identify the key problems and opportunities while bringing our years of experience to the table from a multidisciplinary team.
