This role can be remote or in-office, dependent of the office location. In-office presence may be required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building.
Position Summary
The Front End Software Developer / Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for AI applications within a law firm setting. This role emphasizes a strong focus on UI/UX and front-end design, primarily using C# and .Net, to create intuitive and efficient digital experiences for users.
Key Responsibilities
Designs and implements user interfaces using C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate AI functionalities into the UI
Develops wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to convey design ideas
Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Conducts user research and evaluates user feedback to refine interfaces
Maintains and improves existing codebases and troubleshoot issues
Collaborates with backend developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic
Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI design
Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and practices
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Ability to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Must have experience in working in a fast paced law firm environment with diverse needs
Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in front-end development
Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is a plus
Technology
Strong experience with C# and the .NET framework required
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-based integrations tools or processes
Basic knowledge of Python is an advantage, helpful for small scripting tasks or working with back-end teams
