The Opportunity

• The position is to support a Special Project for an Intelligence Community customer in Frederick, Maryland.
• The project is to maintain and evolve an existing set of computer applications on multiple networks.

Responsibilities

• Provides frontend software development inside an AGILE development environment.
• Maintains the Graphic User Interface (GUI) to ensure proper function and user satisfaction.
• Updates and incorporates new scripting and code for front-end system to support technical improvements.
• Works with the team to incorporate new adhoc projects into existing applications to continue operations and maintenance (O&M) or non-ADA developed apps and tools.

Qualifications
Required:

• Must have a TS/SCI security clearance with ability to pass a polygraph.
• Must have current Security + certification.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, math or a medical field with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in software development tasks and AGILE development of new and existing applications.
• Expertise with HTML, Java 1.8, Spring, Git/Gitlab, CSS and Angular.
• Previous experience working with users to design a productive GUI.
• Proficient with scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, JavaScript/ECMA Script, etc.)
• Strong programming skills with multiple languages.
• Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Ability to execute system/software lifecycle management.

Desired:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/CentOS7 (SSH Access): Apache Tomcat 9, Apache Solr 8, PostgreSQL 13/9.6
• Expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019 (RDP access) to include Oracle 12g, Apache Solr4, Apache Tomcat 8.5, Apache HTTP 2.4, MySQL 8.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Monitoring Tools to include Splunk and SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with DevOps satck that includes GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifctory.
• Familiarity with DoD Instruction DoDI 8500.1, DoDI8500.2, DoDI 10.01, ICD 503 and the national Institute of Standards and Technology and Technology Special Publications 800-144 and 145.
• Experience integrating COTs capability into GOTs applications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
