Role mission

• We are looking for a Senior/Staff Front-End Platform Engineer with a track record of managing front-end platforms and driving developer-focused initiatives. You’ll drive high-impact initiatives for our flagship products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of data management.
• This is a crucial role aimed at elevating our front-end tooling and enabling seamless, frictionless experiences for our front-end engineering community.

Your Challenge

• Join our Front-End Platform team and help provide a world-class Developer Experience across our front-end community.
• Own and maintain our NX monorepo, keeping it current and always improving for a more efficient developer journey.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (powered by GitLab), ensuring stability, performance, and efficient deployment within Kubernetes environments.
• Lead the architectural evolution of our modular monolith application, built using Typescript, React, Apollo GraphQL, MobX, and the latest microfrontend approaches using module federation.
• Set up and track DX metrics, making data-driven decisions to continually push improvements.
• Establish and maintain quality gates using ESLint, Playwright, and Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Drive and take ownership beyond coding—deliver impactful solutions and iterate towards excellence.

• Mastery of TypeScript: You write TypeScript as if it's your native language.
• React & GraphQL Expertise: You have hands-on experience and love to promote best practices.
• Tooling Passion: Webpack, RSpack, Vite, SWC, monorepos—you live for this.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You thrive on improving the lives of other engineers, making their work easier and more efficient.
• Scaling Experience: You have maintained large front-end projects with significant contributions from 10+ engineers.
• [Nice to have] Kubernetes Knowledge: You're not afraid of diving into the Kubernetes ecosystem and fiddling around with Helm charts.
