Brief Job Summary:
This position performs moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze user requirements to determine technical feasibility and proposed solutions
• Develop and maintain software code in accordance with user requirements and programming standards
• Conduct unit testing of software code and assist in debugging of assigned projects
• Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
• Resolve technical issues as necessary
• Keep abreast of new technology developments
• All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Education: BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Experience: 5+ years’ experience developing web applications using Java/J2EE technologies
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in core java and j2ee technologies like spring , hibernate, jsp , servlets, ejb, rmi, socket, http, xml parsing, json parsing, httpclient, httpsession, jstl, crypto
- Experience in developing enterprise level application which can handle high volume of traffic
- Strong knowledge on OOPs concepts and Design patterns
- Good understanding of multi-threading concept and synchronization techniques
- Knowledge on performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Should have good hands-on experience on any one of the IDE like Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
