Worth AI is on the lookout for a talented Front End/Full Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to transforming how businesses leverage AI for decision-making. In this role, you will focus primarily on the front end but also engage in full stack development, creating user-friendly applications that empower businesses to make insightful and equitable decisions. Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging web applications with a focus on front-end technologies and interactive user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements and transform them into technical specifications.
- Implement responsive layouts and accessibility standards to enhance user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to ensure top-notch software quality.
- Conduct proper testing and debugging to ensure robustness and performance of applications.
- Take part in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to perpetually improve the development process.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to facilitate effective team collaboration.
- Contribute to back-end developments when necessary, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
- Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the development workflow.
- Proven experience as a Front End/Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) preferred.
- Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in DevOps practices, especially with AWS, is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in Risk, Underwriting and/or Payments Industry is preferred.
