Front-End Engineer with Rails/Turbo/Stimulus expertise

We are hiring a remote Front-End Engineer with Rails/Turbo/Stimulus experience to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS AND some knowledge of the modern front-end stack of Rails/Turbo/Stimulus controllers.

Basic requirements:

- The ideal dev is self-motivated with real-world experience. You don’t need a fancy degree, or big tech experience. (self-driven)

- You must be able to own a project and work directly with people who will use your tools. (good communication)

- You'll be expected to complete a coding challenge as part of the interview process (everybody on the team has done well on it).

- You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time. We are on zoom and slack a lot.

Front-End Rails Engineer responsibilities will include:

• Implement functional and beautiful customer facing web sites
• Ensure responsive designs for optimal display across various devices
• Collaborate with our designers and back end engineers

Qualities

• 3+ years of experience in front-end design and javascript development
• 1+ years of Rails w/ Turbo and Stimulus
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Familiarity with SaaS products and their unique design challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• You can be located anywhere, but you must be willing to work in Pacific timezone
