About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our web platform. You'll work with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences and scalable interfaces using cutting‑edge technologies. This is a hybrid role based in Cali, Colombia, where you'll contribute to building software that supports real financial products used by customers around the world. You'll also help evolve our frontend architecture and best practices in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain high‑quality web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Implement server‑side rendering (SSR) following performance and accessibility best practices
- Build and document reusable UI components in Storybook
- Write robust E2E tests with Cypress and contribute to the testing strategy
- Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to define and deliver new features
- Work with basic AWS services (e.g., CloudFront, S3)
- Champion clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend code
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer
- Proven expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Hands‑on experience with Storybook and Cypress
- Basic knowledge of AWS services
- Knowledge of authentication, encryption, and web security best practices
- English level B1 or higher (for documentation and basic communication)
- Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and focus on code quality
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Jest / Testing Library
- Familiarity with scalable frontend architectures (e.g., feature‑sliced, DDD)
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, handling evolving requirements and priorities
