Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to support and enhance our Drupal-based platform, which serves as a critical user interface layer integrated with multiple backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will build scalable, responsive, and accessible user interfaces and collaborate closely with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain Drupal frontend components, including themes and custom modules
- Integrate frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs to display dynamic content
- Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, and Figma prototypes into responsive interfaces
- Build reusable, accessible, and high-performance UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless data integration and functionality
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and UI performance optimization
- Follow best practices for clean, modular, and maintainable code
Qualifications & skills:
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Drupal frontend development, including themes and custom modules
- Solid experience working with PHP in Drupal environments
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience translating backend API data into functional frontend interfaces
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UI best practices
- Experience working with Git and Agile development environments
Preferred Skills:
- Drupal certifications such as Drupal Front-End Specialist or Acquia Certified Front-End Developer
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools for design implementation
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
