Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer specializing in Angular.js to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications that provide seamless, user-friendly interfaces. Your expertise in Angular and front-end technologies will contribute directly to delivering high-quality digital solutions aligned with business needs, enhancing user experiences, and supporting our organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Software Requirements

• Required: Angular.js (version 2+), JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Git, REST API integration, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

• Preferred: Angular CLI, RxJS, responsive design frameworks, UI component libraries such as Angular Material, version control tools, testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma)

• Experience Level: 5+ years of hands-on front-end development, with a focus on Angular.js applications

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Angular.js to create responsive and user-focused interfaces

• Write clean, modular, and optimized code following best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for dynamic data rendering and interactions

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end performance for efficiency and responsiveness

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, facilitate estimation, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

• Keep pace with emerging front-end technologies and framework updates, and recommend improvements to the development process

• Maintain technical documentation, including UI component specifications and user interface guidelines

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS/CSS3

  • Preferred: Additional JS frameworks/libraries such as RxJS, Angular CLI, Bootstrap

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Not primary; familiarity with integrating back-end data APIs and data formats like JSON and XML

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Basic understanding of deploying front-end applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) (preferred)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Angular.js (version 2+), Angular Material, RxJS, REST API consumption, responsive design frameworks

• Development Tools & Methodologies:

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development focused on Angular.js applications

• Demonstrated ability to develop responsive, scalable, and accessible web interfaces

• Extensive experience in working with RESTful APIs and data integration

• Proven experience collaborating within Agile teams and participating in full development lifecycle

• Industry experience in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, or large enterprise digital solutions preferred; alternative relevant sectors acceptable

Day-to-Day Activities

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Angular.js

• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to implement UI features

• Troubleshoot UI issues across different browsers and devices, optimize load times and runtime performance

• Conduct code reviews for front-end components, ensure code adheres to project standards

• Maintain and update documentation of UI components and interface guidelines

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings

• Stay current with front-end technology trends and incorporate best practices into ongoing projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on Angular.js

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Proven experience working with REST APIs, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility

• Certifications in front-end frameworks or UI/UX design are a plus

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an eye for UI/UX best practices
