TITLE:                  Front Desk Supervisor 

LOCATION:         Cliff Spa, Snowbird Resort 

STATUS:             Full-Time 

SCHEDULE:        Monday-Sunday 5:30am-10:30pm 

  • You must be available to work any 8-hour shift during operating hours based on business needs, any day of the week including weekends and holidays. 
  • Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels. 
     

SUMMARY 

As the full-time Cliff Spa Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll lead daily operations at the front desk for a dynamic, high-traffic spa. You’ll manage a diverse team, drive sales, maintain high standards for service, and ensure smooth, efficient operations across all departments. You will assist guests with check-in and out, give general information about the resort, answer the telephone, make reservations, receive customer complaints, and find solutions, and demonstrate outstanding customer service. 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Lead and support a team of up to 10 employees. Hire, train, schedule, and coach team members to deliver excellent service. 
  • Check guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Book spa reservations for our treatments, facilities and classes. 
  • Respond to guest questions and take action to resolve customer complaints.  
  • Uphold Snowbird’s standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest interaction. 
  • Collaborate with other managers to optimize spa operations. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE 

  • 1-2 years management or receptionist experience. 
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Multitasking is a must. 
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn Book4Time, Square and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • 18 years of age or older. 
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure. 

 

 WORK SCHEDULE 

  • Schedule varies and may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. 
  • Must be prepared to stay overnight during road closures. 
  • May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird. 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and bend repeatedly. 
  • Work is subject to frequent interruptions, making continuity and accuracy difficult. 
  • Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
