What You'll Do
- Answer phone calls promptly and transfer to the appropriate department
- Schedule appointments; provide preparation instructions to patients
- Review and confirm referring provider orders and insurance authorizations
- Contact patients and physician offices to confirm appointments and deliver exam prep details
- Verify insurance coverage as needed
- Monitor and respond to incoming faxes from referring providers
- Fax reports to requesting physician offices
- Provide interpretation or translation as needed (Mandarin and/or Cantonese required)
- Assist other departments with obtaining medical history or insurance information
- Contact insurance providers to initiate authorization requests as directed
- Request prior imaging records from outside facilities when necessary
- Cross-train and support front desk operations as needed
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
- Participate in monthly office meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a must; additional language skills are a plus
- Prior experience in a medical or radiology office preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with insurance verification and scheduling systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused

- This is a full-time position located at 506 W. Valley Blvd. Unit #100, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
- The target pay range for this role is $20.00-$24.00 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
