Creative Dining Services is seeking a full time Front Desk Lead for the Haworth Hotel on the campus of Hope College, in Holland, Michigan. The Haworth Hotel, a 48 room boutique hotel, is located at the heart of Holland’s historic downtown district and Hope College’s lively campus, welcoming people worldwide for conferences, vacation stays, meetings and more.
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on excelling in a leadership position while providing great customer, organization, multi-tasking, and have a desire to provide our guests with an exceptional experience throughout their stay.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and instruction; keep management apprised of overall operations
- Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned
- Navigates POS system
- Counts cash and reconciles credit card payments
- Acts as concierge for all hotel and conference guests
- Answers phone to take registrations, cancellations, and provide general information
- Performs general administrative tasks
