Job Description

The Front Desk/ Control Room Specialist serves as the first point of contact for employees, vendors, and guests entering the building. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and welcoming lobby environment, managing visitor access, and supporting day-to-day building operations. This role also monitors the security of the building, and directing any emergency response activities. The ideal candidate is organized, courteous, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Monitor building access and ensure adherence to security and visitor management procedures.
  • Issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs.
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding building services
  • Coordinate with HR, and maintenance staff as needed.
  • Report building issues, safety concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities.
  • Support emergency response procedures and assist during building evacuations when required.

Typical Education and Experience

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 years of related experience

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.

  • Light work that will occasionally require employee to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
  • Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally
  • Must stay alert while working a 12 hour shift
