19 hours weekly based on needs of center.
SUMMARY:
Family Service League is seeking a part-time Front Desk Administrative Assistant for our Riverhead Family Center. The Front Desk Administrative Assistant perfoms general administrative and clerical functions, greets and interfaces with clients, enters data, and orders supplies
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform general clerical functions, including answering phones, scheduling, loading appointments, scanning, and interacting with clients and referral sources.
• Maintain an onsite presence to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
• Greet and sign in patients.
• Perform electronic data entry and record keeping.
• Schedule client appointments and take payments.
• Make appointment reminder calls.
• Help establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Enter data into OASAS system.
• Provide insurance verification and authorization.
• Run ISTOPS.
• Conduct bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years’ related experience in an office setting required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
Ability to multi-task, have excellent customer service skills and work as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule for office coverage.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
