JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Front Office & Administrative Assistant
Department: Administration
Reports To: HR Manager or VP/GM's office
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Location: Chatsworth, California
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM (4/10 alternative workweek schedule)
COMPENSATION: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
BASIC FUNCTION
This role is the first point of contact for Sensor Systems and a key partner to the administrative and leadership team. The position blends front-desk reception, day-to-day office coordination, and light executive-support work — keeping the front office running smoothly, supporting facilities and vendor needs, and providing administrative assistance to leadership as directed. This is a junior-level, hands-on role well suited to someone who enjoys variety and wants to build a broader administrative or HR career path.
Preferred QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
- 1–2 years of experience in reception, office administration, or customer-facing support (internships/coordinator roles count).
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-sensitive environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); comfortable learning new systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional, polished demeanor.
- Excellent judgment and discretion — this role has visibility into sensitive company and personnel information.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift on-site.
- Preferred: English & Spanish Bilingual
