As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking an Implementations Manager who combines deep data architecture expertise with strong project and team management skills. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and French, enabling them to lead multi-country customer engagements across our core European markets.
Role Overview
The Implementations Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Black Tiger customer implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. This individual will serve as both a technical leader (data architect, solution designer) and a program leader (project management, team coordination), bridging customer requirements with Black Tiger’s platform capabilities.
Given Black Tiger’s strong customer base in Belgium and France, fluency in both English and French is essential to effectively manage client relationships and internal team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Leadership
● Own the full lifecycle of customer implementations—from scoping and solution design to deployment, testing, and handover.
● Translate business requirements into technical architecture, mapping customer data models, governance frameworks, and AI-readiness needs onto Black Tiger’s platform.
● Act as the primary point of escalation for complex project challenges across French- and English-speaking customers.
Data Architecture
● Design and validate enterprise-grade data integration, governance, and mastering architectures.
● Define data models, data flows, and reference data structures aligned with MDM best practices.
● Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align customer implementations with platform roadmap.
Project & Program Management
● Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple customer projects.
● Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies; provide proactive updates to internal and external stakeholders.
● Ensure projects meet defined success criteria, including customer satisfaction and measurable business outcomes.
Team Leadership
● Manage and mentor a team of Implementation Consultants and Data Engineers.
● Drive adoption of standard operating procedures, playbooks, and implementation frameworks.
● Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
● Education & Background:
○ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
○ 3-5 years’ experience in enterprise data management, MDM, or data architecture.
○ 3+ years’ experience managing implementation teams or professional services organizations.
● Technical Expertise:
○ Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise data architecture products (MDM, governance, integration, quality).
○ Knowledge and experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, APIs, cloud data platforms, and data governance tools.
○ Familiarity with AI/ML data readiness and compliance frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO, NIST).
● Project/Team Management Skills:
○ PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
○ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
○ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
● Language Skills:
○ Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required.
○ Additional languages (e.g., Dutch, German) are a plus.
