TransPerfect Connect is engaging independent contractors to provide French–English customer support services for a global retail and e-commerce client known for its focus on quality, craftsmanship, and elevated customer experience.

Contractors will support customer interactions across phone and email channels, assisting with product inquiries, order-related questions, and post-purchase support. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who can deliver a thoughtful, polished, and service-driven customer experience in a remote environment.

Scope of Services

Contractors may perform services including:

  • Providing customer support through inbound phone and email interactions
  • Assisting customers with product-related inquiries, including fit, materials, fabric care, and general product knowledge
  • Supporting order placement, tracking, returns, and general account inquiries
  • Addressing customer concerns using a solution-oriented and professional approach
  • Delivering a customer experience aligned with premium retail standards
  • Documenting interactions in designated systems as required for service delivery
  • Following general service guidelines while adapting communication to meet individual customer needs

Work Structure

This is a contract-based independent contractor opportunity.

  • Services are performed remotely
  • Client support is primarily needed during operating hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Turkey Time
  • Contractors indicate their availability within these hours and are offered work based on project needs and availability
  • Work volume may vary and is not guaranteed
  • Contractors may support up to full-time hours depending on business demand and individual availability

Ideal Profile

  • Native or near-native fluency in French
  • Strong professional-level English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Experience in customer service, call center support, or customer-facing roles
  • Retail or e-commerce experience preferred
  • Comfortable managing both phone and written customer interactions
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation

Qualification Process

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contractors are not employees of TransPerfect Connect and are responsible for managing their own work arrangements in alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
