Role Overview
Citarella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking Freezer associates to join our Team! This role is responsible for a variety of tasks including the overall organization and maintenance of the Freezer department, supporting various departments that allocate their product within the warehouse's freezer.
Role and Responsibilities
Perform general operational tasks including but not limited to: proper Receiving, Labeling, Product Rotation, FIFO organization, etc.
- Maintain department appearance, cleanliness, and organization standards in compliance with Citarella
Policies and food safety/sanitation handling procedures
Assist with inventory maintenance
- Always maintain professionalism and treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
- Other reasonably assigned duties as per business needs
Requirements
- Ability to work both independently as well as with a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, lifting, carrying, push/pull weight
Ability to work in freezer temperatures and other temperature controlled environments
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed, and the in the correct uniform
