We are hiring a freelance Interaction Designer in Shenzhen to design clear, fast, and delightful experiences for AI agents and consumer devices.
Responsibilities
• Create flows, wireframes, polished UI, and clickable prototypes in Figma.
• Define interaction patterns and components across web, mobile, and device interfaces.
• Prototype complex agent states, transitions, and error recovery before engineering investment.
• Deliver clear specs, assets, reusable components, and organized source files.
Requirements
• A strong portfolio of consumer-product or AI interaction work.
• Advanced Figma skills across components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Excellent taste, speed, independence, and comfort with imperfect inputs.
• Freelance/contract availability and ability to collaborate with Shenzhen and New York.
Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience designing interfaces for B2B/enterprise software products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design work for complex web applications
- Proficiency with Figma (primary), Sketch, or similar modern design tools
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- Experience working in remote-first environments
