Remote Freelance contract | ±6 hours/week over 5 weeks
Fee: USD $900 (flat fee)
We’re seeking experienced Psychology / Psychometric Subject Matter Experts to partner with us on the review and enhancement of a 7-module online course focused on cognitive ability, aptitude, and employment-related assessments.
Scope of WorkAs a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll apply your expertise to strengthen existing course and assessment content by:
- Reviewing and validating assessment items against current job-readiness and cognitive-ability standards
- Evaluating question quality, difficulty balance, clarity, and real-world relevance
- Refining or rewriting questions and improving workplace-applied scenarios
- Advising on best practices for adult learners preparing for workplace cognitive or aptitude tests
- Collaborating with instructional design, editorial, and learning-experience teams
- Providing final review and sign-off on revised content
- ~ 6 hours per week over 5 weeks (tapers as the project progresses)
- USD $900 (flat fee)
- Fully remote
RequirementsIdeal Candidate Profile
- 5–10+ years industry experience in psychology, psychometrics, or assessment-related work
- Master’s or PhD in Psychometrics, Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, or a related field
- Proven experience developing, reviewing, or validating cognitive, aptitude, or employment-related assessments
- Preferred (not required): familiarity with Wonderlic or similar assessments; prior work on test-prep or assessment materials
- Experience working with adult, workplace-oriented learners
