About the role
We’re looking for remote writers to create travel guides and inspirational content for our content platform, The Explorer.
You will be tasked with writing SEO articles about destinations around the world, based on personal experience and quality research.
To apply for this role, you should have basic experience in writing travel-related SEO content, although we will provide additional training.
You will:
- Write exclusive blogs and travel guides for GetYourGuide’s content platform, The Explorer, that provide valuable information about international travel
- Mininum requirement: 12 articles a month. Please do not apply if this does not fit with your availability.
- Do extensive research on target destinations by checking other travel-related sites, blogs, interviews, forums, reviews, etc., before writing about them
- Submit finished work to your editor for reviewing based on our content calendar
Who you are:
- SEO writing experience (travel or lifestyle SEO is a huge plus)
- Ability to create at least 4 articles per week
- Keen attention to detail and great fact-checking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Native fluency in English
