Freelance Salesforce Developer - Full Remote

This is a remote position.

For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for Salesforce Developer - Full remote. 

EU candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. Candidates need to live and work in Europe to make occasional meetings on-site possible. A work permit is required. This position is open for freelancers and employees.

During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements from the business, translate into design and build applications following salesforce best practices;
  
• Apply the full-stack approach to solution design through planning, testing, implementing, deploying, and operations of solutions;
  
• Build high-quality applications championing the modular design, reusable components, separation of concern, high cohesion, and loose coupling architecture;
  
• Work with wider technical team on integration requirements and develop applications that connect to multiple applications;
  
• Provide Tier 3/4 global support in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex platform and integration issues;
  
• Document the Technical Design and Implementation details;
  
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the build is thoroughly tested each new release and enhancement;
  
• Contribute to setting up the architectural and technical standards by keeping abreast of technological trends and Salesforce new releases; 
  
• Collaborate with the team for code review and unit testing and manage post-deployment activity such as knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes;
  
• Be part of global dev-ops team and participate in agile delivery;
  

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
  
• +5 years of experience working in Salesforce platform (Sales/Service Cloud and Not for Profit Cloud);
  
• Proficiency in Salesforce SFDX and Metadata API source control & deployment strategies. Experience Salesforce scratch org creation and developing of the second-generation package is plus;
  
• Having Salesforce Certification (Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer and platform developer II) are highly regarded;
  
• Fluent in English;
  

Location: Remote (within Europe);
