Job Posting:
Freelance, Lee Men's Design (Greensboro, NC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing tops styles - sketching, coming up with ideas, details, new silhouettes
- Selecting new fabric for tops
- Pulling pattern inspiration for plaids
- Assorting the plaids/patterns into the shirt styles
- Assorting color into styles
- Sketching hand off pages/ detail call outs
- Meeting with tech - walking them through the detail callouts
- Lab dips color comments, h/l comments, wash panel comments - entering comments into charts
- Power point files for Milestone meeting presentations (creating our “line sheets”)
- Pinning boards for comp review
- Trim development - buttons, labels, embroideries, patches (adobe illustrator)
- Organizing samples & racks
- Need to have an "eye for color", experience building collections, experience with prints and plaids.
- Educational/Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in fashion or apparel design
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
- This person will be required to be onsite at our HQ in Greensboro, NC.
- This position will be a full-time freelance role at 40 hours a week.
