As a Freelance Content Editor for the Thailand market, you’ll play a vital role in managing and curating content tailored for the Thai market. In this in part-time freelance content editor role, you will be responsible for reviewing news and articles, selecting relevant content for our news feed and other touchpoints on smart phones, and ensuring that the content presented to end-users meets high editorial standards.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Language Proficiency: Thai and English
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in news editing, journalism, or working in a digital media environment focusing on Thai audiences.
  • Cultural Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Thai culture, current affairs, and popular trends.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology and content management tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while meeting clear deadlines and objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in remote or freelance editorial roles
  • Awareness of content moderation, brand safety, or platform compliance standards
  • Exposure to content recommendation systems or platforms

  • Curate and review news and articles to feature on our platform for Thai-speaking audiences.
  • Select and promote content that adheres to Taboola’s content policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging across a range of topics including news, entertainment, politics, business, lifestyle, tech, and so on.
  • Ensure a balanced mix of content, maintaining both vertical and horizontal diversity (categories & publishers).
