We are looking for a German Content Creator (Freelancer) to develop engaging German materials for our migration/integration course. The material will focus on two separate components: 1. An intensive German course (A1-B1) and 2. An integration component.
This is a remote freelancer position to start ASAP.
You will:
- Curate and design engaging materials for an Intensive German course (A1-B1)
- Mapping content to the Babbel app lessons and optimizing mapping based on feedback
- Optimise and improve our learning content based on teacher and learner feedback
- Manage the curriculum and content suite, potentially with content management tools (e.g. Contentful) and AI tools, and drive the optimization of learning content through AI-assisted content creation
You have:
- German & English language skills (native proficiency)
- Knowledge of the CEFR framework.
- Familiarity with the Babbel app
- Experience in creating and editing online teaching material
- Experience in the field of language learning and familiarity with the digital self-study market
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
- The ability to work to deadlines and be dedicated to output.
- A tax number for freelance work (not necessarily issued by the German authorities)
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of other languages is a strong plus (Ukrainian, Arabic etc).
- Knowledge of migration/integration courses in Germany.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up environment is a strong plus.
- A university degree in German Teaching, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
