You will:
- Collect, verify, and analyze emissions-related data from clients;
- Apply standards and methodologies such as the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, and SBTi guidance;
- Select and apply appropriate emission factors from relevant international databases;
- Develop bespoke methodologies and questionnaires to engage suppliers/customers in data collection;
- Develop comprehensive emissions inventories (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) and identify key reduction levers;
- Prepare clear, accurate, and actionable reports and presentations for clients;
- Support climate strategy development and net-zero planning;
- Collaborate remotely with our project teams and clients.
Requirements:
- Experience building carbon footprint models independently, not limited to plug-and-play software use; strong understanding of underlying emission factors, activity data structures, and calculation methodologies;
- Strong knowledge of international emissions factor sources (including ecoinvent, DEFRA and others), with ability to critically assess data quality, relevance, and applicability to diverse sectors and geographies;
- In-depth understanding of GHG accounting standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064);
- Familiarity with Scope 3 emissions methodologies and data challenges;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting or corporate climate action;
- Strong analytical and data management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Fluency in Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, or Estonian is beneficial but not required;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality;
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines;
- Comfortable working in remote, international teams.
