Location: This role will be hybrid, based in our Pittsburgh Office

ASSIGNMENT CLARIFICATION: This position/assignment is temporary. You will be considered an employee of System One, our 3rd party partner of our contractor population, and/or of your specific freelance agency.

Get to Know the Role: This position is responsible for supporting the AE Brand Team through the marketing planning process in developing marketing plans, guiding creative execution of the seasonal brand strategy across channels, and capturing seasonal hindsights and competitive analyses.

What You’ll Do:

  • Marketing Planning Support + Marketing Plan Development
  • Assist Brand team in building seasonal briefs by gathering hindsights, customer insights, etc.
  • Build out + maintain seasonal planning documents including:
  • Seasonal marketing plans, supplemental imagery plans, cross-functional shareback, and marketing sizzle decks
  • Organize product & marketing priorities of the season
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect necessary information regarding brand partnerships and collaborations; ensuring the Creative team can develop content that aligns with the external brand guidelines.
  • Support additional brief needs for special projects as needed within a season
  • Manage timelines + tactics in Monday.com for creative & copy teams
  • Manage the creation of pre-season timelines for planning deliverables, which include marketing plan development and needs for content capture and supplemental imagery requests
  • Assist with agendas for pre-season planning meetings
  • Owns weekly cross-functional meetings as assigned
  • Support activations as needed
  • Contributes to seasonal hindsights for all brand channels
  • Responsible for monthly competitive recaps for Stores & Digital channels
  • Support evolution of brand team processes by actively seeking new ways to maximize the utilization of tools, including Monday.com and Edited

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of retail or agency marketing experience
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build relationships with cross functional teams
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Monday.com
  • Technology forward mindset, open to learning new tools & integrating into team processes
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Ability to independently work with business partners to prioritize day to day tasks
  • Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings such as one-on-one, small and large groups, and with peers and bosses
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
