- Lead the fraud risk assessment for every new product, payment rail, and country — identifying the threats, defining the controls and thresholds, and recommending readiness.
- Support the launch squad in sequencing concurrent launches , partnering across Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, and the fraud team to get the fraud-risk work done on time.
- Build and maintain the launch playbook: a repeatable fraud risk-assessment and readiness process so each new rail or country plugs in without reinventing it each time.
- Define the controls, thresholds, and monitoring each launch needs; hand off cleanly to the squad and BAU owners after launch.
- Use data and SQL to size launch risk, set initial thresholds, and monitor early post-launch indicators — iterating quickly when reality diverges from the assessment.
- Track the fraud-risk dependencies for each launch and surface blockers early, before they become launch slips.
- Communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and partner effectively across teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–6 years of experience, including supporting product, payment-rail, or market launches in a payments, fintech, or risk environment.
- Strong launch / project execution skills: running risk assessments, managing the fraud-risk workstream of a launch, and keeping cross-functional dependencies on track.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced SQL (hands-on) — able to pull and analyze data, size risk, set thresholds, and monitor launch performance independently. (No ML or statistical-modeling requirement — this is an orchestration role, not a modeling one.)
- Conceptual breadth across fraud typologies, rails, and geographies — enough to know what to ask and what to assess, across markets.
- Working awareness of the regulatory context per rail and market (e.g., NACHA for ACH, KYC/AML considerations for new countries).
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) to build and consume monitoring.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence without authority.
- Advanced English; familiarity with LATAM markets a strong plus.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
- Competitive salary
- Initial stock options grant
- Annual performance bonus
- Health, dental, and vision plans
- Remote work environment, although we have offices in Miami and México City and would love to work in hybrid model if you are up to it.
- Continuous learning opportunities
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid parental leave
- Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
