Position Description: This dynamic role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit and is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting losses associated with theft, fraud, and unethical business conduct. The role requires independent thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interfacing with corporate executives, regional management, and internal customers.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Data Analytics, or relevant discipline

Professional Accreditation:   CFE preferred, CPA or CIA a plus

Language: Bi-Lingual - Spanish a plus

Experience:

• Minimum 5+years of experience in a Corporate setting.

• Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills; knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytical tools a plus
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required (approximately 50%)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, from entry-level to executive management.
• Investigate and report on fraudulent and unethical business activities through our Service Now ticketing system.
• Through the use of Power BI perform financial and operational data analysis to validate, identify, or detect fraudulent activity.
• Create reports to capture trends used in proactive analysis.
• Provide recommendations and improvements to internal controls to minimize the opportunity for fraudulent activity.
• Prepare evidential reports and memos to support the criminal prosecution of suspects.
• Work with law enforcement agencies and district attorneys to obtain the successful criminal prosecution of suspects.
• Document suspect and witness interviews in detail.
• Handle contentious and confrontational interviews.
• Understand company financial, operational, and HR policies.
• Quickly learn business processes and controls.
• Participate in Internal Audit projects as needed

Onsite in Daytona Beach, FL

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.

Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
