Job Summary:

As a Franchise Compliance Administrator, your pivotal role within our organization will be focused on both ensuring our compliance as a franchisor and overseeing that our franchisees adhere strictly to regulatory and brand requirements. This position plays a critical role in administering franchise agreements, managing the enrollment of franchisees in commercial insurance, supporting operations in compliance reviews, and implementing fines for non-compliance with brand standards and regulatory norms.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  •  Supervise, train, and develop support staff on compliance standards and best practices related to franchise operations.
  •  Coordinate and manage schedules and performance evaluations of support staff, implementing corrective actions as needed in line with company policy.
  •  Maintain a culture of learning and adherence to compliance within the team, emphasizing the importance of brand and regulatory compliance.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Administer and manage franchise agreements, ensuring strict adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations by both the franchisor and the franchisees.
  •  Oversee the enrollment process of franchisees in our commercial insurance programs and ensure continuous compliance.
  •  Collaborate closely with operations to provide compliance oversight and conduct regular reviews to maintain high compliance standards.
  •  Issue fines and implement corrective actions for franchisees in instances of non-compliance with brand or regulatory requirements.
  •  Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, policies, and procedures to guide franchise operations.
  •  Maintain detailed and accurate records of franchise interactions, agreements, insurance enrollments, compliance reviews, and issued fines.
  •  Work proactively with franchisees to address and resolve compliance-related issues and concerns, escalating matters as necessary.
  •  Collaborate with executive and legal teams to continually update and enhance compliance standards and protocols in alignment with regulatory changes and organizational objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey compliance standards and requirements to varied audiences.
  •  Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within franchise operations.
  •  Detail-oriented with superior organizational and multitasking skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and adaptability to new technologies.
  •  Client-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve compliance concerns effectively and efficiently.
  •  Extensive knowledge of, and ability to quickly learn, industry-specific compliance requirements and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in regulatory compliance.
  •  Minimum of three years of relevant experience in franchise compliance or related roles.
  •  Experience in administering contracts and overseeing compliance in a franchising environment is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  •  Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  •  Ability to lift up to 15 pounds if required.
  •  Availability to travel as needed to interact with franchisees and attend relevant meetings.
