As the Frame Product Specialist for Zenni Shanghai team, your core mission is to serve as a Frame Expert, filling the gap in product knowledge within the local team. You will collaborate closely with the Frame Strategy Expert in the US and Supply Chain experts to drive online GMV growth through a combination of data insights and technical product expertise, providing critical decision support for the technology team.
Core Responsibilities1. Product Expertise & Knowledge Hub
- Bridge Professional Gaps: Deep dive into frame materials, construction, ergonomics, and fashion trends to provide professional consultancy for the Shanghai team, addressing the current lack of frame-specific expertise.
- Global Collaboration: Maintain high-frequency communication with US-based experts (Strategy) and the Supply team to ensure precise execution of global product strategies online.
- Capture Consumer Insights: Develop a deep understanding of US market consumer needs and pain points across different demographics, providing superior product solutions.
2. Data-Driven R&D Feedback Loop
- Trend Benchmarking: Deconstruct features of competing and top-selling products to extract "bestseller DNA," driving the serialized development of new quarterly collections.
- Demand Transformation: Translate unmet consumer needs into structured product development proposals for the factory based on onsite sales performance.
- Root Cause Analysis of Returns: Perform in-depth analysis of frame structural issues (e.g., nose pad height, temple tension) to drive product improvements at the production level.
3. Sales Management
- Refined Tag Management: Ensure the accuracy of frame attribute tags (face shape recommendations, style, material) to optimize the onsite search experience.
- Visual Content Control: Guide photography and design teams to optimize hero shots and 360-degree displays from a professional product perspective to improve Click-Through Rates (CTR).
- Dynamic Sales Analysis: Monitor daily sales across categories and price points to identify growth opportunities or downward risks.
- Product Depth: 5+ years of experience in the eyewear industry, with a profound understanding of frame construction, materials, and design.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent cross-cultural and cross-regional communication skills; ability to collaborate smoothly with US and Danyang teams (Factory) to drive project progress.
- Market Insight: Familiarity with US consumer preferences and the diverse eyewear needs of different populations.
- Logic & Data: Proficient in data analysis tools; able to identify product issues through data and provide actionable solutions.
- General Competency: Possess a "Product Manager" mindset while maintaining strong execution skills and a high sensitivity to detail.
- E-commerce Experience: Experience in an e-commerce company is a plus.
- Frame GMV & CVR: Sales revenue and conversion rates for the assigned categories.
- Product Insight Accuracy: The adoption rate of submitted R&D proposals and their subsequent market performance.
- Collaboration Efficiency: Communication efficiency and project completion rates with the US and Danyang teams.
- Quality Return Rate: Monitoring and reducing return rates caused by structural design flaws or inaccurate product descriptions.
