What You Offer

We are looking for a product executive to help oversee our product strategy, development, and innovation on a fractional basis. You'll work closely with the product team, the executive team, and cross-functionally to align product vision with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced product leader who can mentor and develop a new team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and lead the overall product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and long-term goals.
  • Roadmap Development: Define and prioritize product roadmaps, balancing short-term objectives with long-term product goals.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, customer feedback analysis, and competitive assessments to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of product development from concept to launch, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with company objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and product performance to key stakeholders, including the executive team, board members, and investors.
  • KPIs & Metrics: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance, user satisfaction, and business impact.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CPO, VP of Product, etc.).
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor product teams, driving innovation and ensuring accountability.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and the ability to align product initiatives with overall company strategy.
  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable analyzing data and making data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for understanding customer needs and translating them into successful product strategies.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of product development processes, technologies, and best practices in agile methodologies.

This is a fractional position, for 10 hours per week, at $100 per hour.
